Laura Cupples is a Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, and a member of the affiliated faculty for the Department of Women and Gender Studies. She holds a BS in Physics from Davidson College, and an MA and PhD in Philosophy from the University of South Carolina. Her research interests include epistemology of disability, reproductive justice, critical metrology, and the intersection of science and values and health policy. She has recently taught courses in Bioethics, Philosophy of Science, and Contemporary Moral Problems.
